Confidence Confronts

Female, age 43 – (click on image to enlarge)

I feel beautiful, I’m 43 years old, and I don’t look like it. I used to straighten my hair, but that’s so bad for it. A friend of mine said I should cut it short and let it go natural. After I started wearing it that way, my friends all told me how good it looked. I’m not affected by anti-aging product advertising because I don’t use the products. I don’t wear any make-up. When my friends and I go out, they’re over here putting on mascara, but I’m ready to go!

I see myself as a mother, sister, friend, and a caregiver. This has changed over time because in my 20’s I only had one child. I have not accomplished what I had hoped to by this time in my life. Money has prevented me from doing this. No, I would not change anything in my life.

I am most proud of my 2 beautiful children. I view the aging process as positive.

I do not have a bucket list of things because I’m just living my life to the fullest.
